Mike Shea

Head of Business Development

As Head of Business Development and Client Engagement for Covr, Mike is responsible for all of Covr’s strategic business development efforts.

Prior to Covr, Mike spent over 18 years at iPipeline where he last served as AVP, Strategic Accounts. In this role, Mike worked with top strategic accounts including carriers, financial institutions, and BGAs/distributors to partner with them on strategic initiatives and digital journeys.

With Mike’s extensive customer relationship, insurance and financial services industry knowledge and technology background, he has had success partnering with his accounts to drive digital innovation, cut costs and increase sales. Throughout his career, Mike’s main roles have included implementation, customer success and sales/relationship management. Mike has managed teams that helped implement some of the insurance industry’s first e-Apps and other innovative technology.

Mike graduated from Drexel University with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a minor in Business. Mike is passionate about basketball, specifically the Kansas Jayhawks, and resides in West Chester, PA, with his wife, Lisa, and their son, Michael Jr.
