Chief Marketing Officer
Michael has more than 20 years of strategic marketing experience, with deep expertise in financial services. Prior to joining Covr, Michael spent 12 years at Morgan Stanley in New York where he was most recently Managing Director and Global Head of Brand Marketing leading a team that handled advertising, digital media, sponsorships and market research across all of Morgan Stanley’s businesses. Prior to being named Global Head of Brand Marketing, Michael led Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management marketing during Morgan Stanley’s joint venture and acquisition of Smith Barney from Citigroup. Michael joined Morgan Stanley’s Firmwide Branding group as a Vice President in 2004 after more than four years in account and leadership roles within two of the world’s largest digital agencies. Michael began his career in marketing at the American Express subsidiary The Boston Company in Boston, Ma, and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Connecticut, and completed the three-year Securities Institute at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
